  If you prefer to enjoy Matcha (powdered Japanese green tea) in the traditional way, a chasen (bamboo tea whisk) is essential.
  
  This Chasen kit contains a chasen made with good quality white bamboo by skilled craftsmen, along with a fold-up bamboo tea spoon and a bamboo canister.
  
  To make matcha, boil the water but let it cool to 60 C, then use the bamboo spoon to place a heap teaspoon of Matcha in a warmed bowl / large cup.
  In a separate cup, pour in hot water, then transfer the hot water to the Matcha bowl.
  Use the chasen to mix the Matcha and hot water in a back and forth motion as if you are drawing the letter "M". Enjoy once mixing is done.
  
  Cleaning is easy - simply rinse under hot water and leave to air-dry. Don't use soap.
